Recorded in 2005, BLACK HALO BLUES was co-produced by VARGAS and famed producer PETER GAGE (Joan Armatrading, Robert Palmer and Restless). Vargas' first solo acoustic session since 1991, the disc also features the torchy "HYMN FOR MY WHORE" and the burlesk lament "ZOETIKA BLUES".

Recorded in 2002, BLACK WIDOW was originally written by JIMMY VARGAS for a stag flick "X-SARIA", created by the Caponi brothers The animation movie was trashed half way through production but the song remains.
